Terms of Use (EULA)

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of Batten, a departure checklist app published by Small Signal Studio (“we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading or using Batten, you agree to these Terms.

The app

Batten helps you build departure manifests, run hold-to-confirm rounds, attach optional photo proof, and seal cognitive receipts in your Vault. Premium features are available through Apple In-App Purchase.

Subscriptions and purchases

• Premium is available as monthly and annual auto-renewing subscriptions through the Apple App Store.
• Both plans include a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers.
• Annual plan: $39.99 per year after the trial unless cancelled before it ends.
• Monthly plan: $5.99 per month after the trial unless cancelled before it ends.
• Prices may vary by region; Apple shows the localized price at purchase.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• You can restore purchases from Settings → Restore purchases in the app.

Safety disclaimer

Batten is a checklist and memory-aid tool. It does not guarantee that your home is safe or that appliances are off. Always verify critical items yourself. Do not rely on the app for emergency or safety-critical decisions.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to reverse engineer it, or use it in violation of applicable law or Apple’s App Store terms.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle data. Checklists and photos are stored on your device unless you enable optional features described in that policy.

Intellectual property

Batten, its branding, and related materials are owned by Small Signal Studio or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Small Signal Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
